Hello, everyone!

It's been a long time since I've added anything, I know.

The end of Feb. my family and I officially moved everything out of my mother's home and near the end of March David and I went back to Columbia to visit family and friends. No more work to be done there...just fun times with friends and family!

Had a fun Sat. evening with my daughter, daughter-in-love, and three of their friends at Girls' Night Live with Anita Renfroe, Mandisa, and Laura Story. We even got to have our picture taken with our favorite Christian music station FISH 104.7!

Easter was very nice for all of us. Hope it was for you!

David and I are trying to get the garage in order a little at a time. We love our Precepts Bible Study and I love the Ladies' Bible Study, too!

We are thankful that David's MRI's have been stable and he's doing so well...a gift from God!!

Our children are doing well and Mandy will get her Master's degree in May.

Rejoice in the Lord always!

lots going on

Hello, everyone!

Lots going on these days...the Jan. 30th we close on the selling of my mother's home in Columbia, SC. The 31st is the first anniversary of her death. Feb. 2nd David and I will travel to Columbia that evening to be ready to begin packing her house on the 3rd and 4th. David's mother and sister will help us the 3rd and 4th . Brian, Whitney, and Mandy will join us late Fri. night and help us all day on Sat. We'll get a good start. After that we can determine when we'll go back to work again.

Very emotional time, but I'm assured God is with me and will sustain me as he always does!

I'm thankful for the help that our family and friends will provide. God is so good to give us everything we need!

Until next time...hope you stay blessed by the Lord and ready to serve Him!

Thought I'd try my hand at blogging.

Lots going on in my life at this time and it's a little mind- boggling. I'm getting ready to pack up my mother's home I SC after it is sold the end of this month. The whole way the sale of her home
has evolved is nothing but a blessing from God's hand. Someone approached me about it a couple of months ago and it has not had to be listed with a real estate company.

The sale and final removal of all of Mother's possessions will be tough for me since this house is the only home place I've ever known. I trust God will see me through the whole process as He always has. David, my children, and others will help which is another blessing!
I'm also blessed that David's cancer is what they call stable from the MRI. He can do many things
even though he has memory issues. We are so thankful he has a great quality of life.

Guess I need to get busy with next week's SS lesson prep and a Sun. afternoon nap.
Until next time....
